10 Things CM Punk Revealed In Colt Cabana Interview Part 2

3. A Brilliant Baseball Metaphor

Cm Punk Aj Lee A common complaint lodged against the WWE by former employees and fans alike centers around what a corporate kiss*ss environment the wrestling organization has become. The picture that's often painted is that the sports entertainment juggernaut is a company overpopulated with yes men and suck-ups who know very little about the industry itself, and Punk backs up these assertions. He delivers a great metaphor involving having to deal with input from all the backstage personnel, equating it to a baseball player at the plate being given different instructions from the head coach, the first base coach and the third base coach, with everyone having their own agendas and the ramifications that come with choosing who to listen to. It's a great analogy of the backstage climate in WWE.
