10 Things You Didn't Know About Christian

8. A Little Help From My Friends

Professional wrestling is without a doubt a very hard business, not just in the toll it takes on one€™s body, but the punishing travel schedule can be enough to drive any sane person away. That€™s why it€™s likely to see groups of wrestlers come together into factions off-screen as well as on-screen, it€™s easier to get through it when you€™re doing it with a group of buddies. Most famously, there€™s the Kliq which consisted of the five guys in WWE who reportedly had the most influence backstage, but there€™s also been groups like The Undertaker€™s BSK and the group of wrestlers who got their start at the Hardyz OMEGA Wrestling. When Christian first got his start in wrestling, he was living in Canada, but often heading into America to work and he picked up his own crew of soon-to-be recognisable faces. Most famously of course was Edge, as the two are childhood friends and began training slightly before Christian thanks to winning a contest to train for free. Together they were known as High Impact, and later The Suicide Blondes and were also part of a stable called €œThug Life€ Thug Life was Christian, Edge (going by €œSexton Hardcastle€), Zakk Wyld, Joe E. Legend and Rhino Richards. Richards would eventually drop the surname to be simply Rhino (and later, Rhyno) and would reunite with Edge and Christian in WWE, while Legend would portray the short-lived WWE character, Just Joe.
