7. Working The Independents
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06cXzfuhaUI While much has been written about both Christians WWE and TNA runs, its not widely known that he spent sometime on the independent and international circuits. Independent bookings can be great paydays for veterans like Christian, and they always provide the opportunity to work with and perhaps even mentor new talent. While still with TNA, he appeared at New Japan Pro Wrestlings biggest show of the year, WrestleKindom, in a six-man tag team match that also included Prince Devitt (now WWEs Finn Bálor. He also wrestled for the United Kindoms One Pro Wrestling against Steve Corino & Rhino, and Italys New Wrestling Entertainment, against Black Pearl and The Vampire Warrior. Perhaps the most surprising company that Christian wrestled for is one of the best known, because in 2006 he wrestled two matches for Ring of Honor. In his first match, he teamed with Colt Cabana to defeat Christopher Daniels and future WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Bryan Danielson and in his second he lost a singles bout to Daniels.
