When The Shield split up this past June, fans were salivating at the prospect of a Triple Threat match pitting all three former members against each other. Unfortunately it never materialised, as Dean Ambrose was left to seek revenge against Rollins on his own whilst Reigns was occupied with Randy Orton. As WrestleMania season nears, the match has again been brought into conversation as fans try to fantasy-book their perfect show. Again it seems as though WWE will go in a different direction, leaving many fans believing they will have to wait even longer for this epic encounter. But the fact is, this match has already happened! Back in early 2012 on an episode of FCW, the three faced off in a match to determine to number one contenders to Leo Krugers Florida Heavyweight Championship. It was a decent match but it does more to show how far the three (Reigns in particular) have come in the past three years.
