That's right; the man who drops from the rafters and attacks people with a baseball bat is indeed a Christian. Sting isn't just a regular old Christian, though - he often made regular appearances on Christian TV networks to preach his faith. He converted to Christianity during his WCW pomp, back in August of 1998. But he's the kind of guy who won't want his faith getting too well known in wrestling circles, given how it differs so much from the gimmick he works under. Sting is supposed to be a dark, aggressive loner who refuses to play by the rules on any given occasion, but a quick YouTube search would find numerous videos where Sting discusses his devotion to God. The WWE probably won't want to make too much of a reference to that if Sting becomes a regular on their TV shows, you'd have to admit. However, he isn't the only religious wrestler; far from it, in fact. Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels and Lex Luger are just three others who are Christians - that would have made for an interesting stable had they all been so open about their faith, wouldn't it?
