Vince McMahon loves reminding people that he's a billionaire (or was a billionaire it all really depends on the stock price). He wasn't always riding high, though McMahon's parents divorced when he was very young and he was actually raised in a trailer park by his mother and stepfather, Leo Lupton. Lupton, who was the closest thing McMahon had to a father at the time (he was actually raised as Vincent Lupton), was abusive to young Vince and his mother, prompting McMahon to comment in a 2001 interview with Playboy Magazine, "It's unfortunate he died before I could kill him. I would have enjoyed that." The horrors didn't stop there for Vince. In the same Playboy piece, McMahon vaguely referenced having a history of sexual abuse, as well abuse which didn't come from Lupton, or any male in his family. When the interviewer followed up by asking, "It's well known that you're estranged from your mother. Have we found the reason?" McMahon simply replied, "Without saying that, I'd say that's pretty close." Love him or hate him, Vince McMahon clearly overcame a lot to get where he is today.
