10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE Diva Renee Young
6. She Attended WrestleMania VI In Toronto
At WrestleMania VI, The Ultimate Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan to capture the WWE Championship. It effectively ended Hogan's dominance over the wrestling landscape and established the Warrior as the hottest new star in the sport. It was a huge event, held in front of 60,000-plus fans and was another example of the enormity of the Showcase of the Immortals. In attendance that night was a young Renee, who attended the show with her father. History tells us that she was not the only future WWE star to see Hogan vanquished by his 2014 Hall of Fame inductee opponent. Adam Copeland, the young man one-day known to millions of fans as the "Rated R Superstar" Edge, witnessed his childhood hero felled by a superior athlete. That two future stars were in attendance at that history-making event makes it one of the rare occasions that a single show motivated two young individuals to eventually pursue a career in the biggest wrestling company in the world.
