10 Things Everybody Gets Wrong About Triple H's WWE

9. Tag Team Wrestling Is Saved

Oh, thank God.

Vince McMahon ruined tag team wrestling as a significant concern because he didn't want to pay four talents for a job that two talents could do. It seemed as though he only promoted it under duress. Think about it.

Faced with competition as he expanded in the '80s, he presided over a golden age of tag team wrestling. The exact same thing happened when WCW challenged him in the mid-to-late '90s. Beyond that, he couldn't have given a f*ck.

But don't worry: Triple H does, and promoted one of the best divisions ever for several years. This means that he will automatically care about tag team wrestling now that he's the Chief Content Officer.

Except Triple H has a particularly strange quirk.

He did it when he was a wrestler, and he just did it on Raw this week: he absolutely loves it when a singles wrestler destroys a tag team. He did it to London and Kendrick, he did it to Cade and Murdoch, and now the returning Braun Strowman did it to no less than four tag teams.

In a very general sense, Triple H is so much more like Vince McMahon than some fans are willing to admit.
