Match: Triple H vs. The Rock (WWF Judgment Day 2000)

Why People Hate It: Triple H and The Rock worked a significantly-slicker 'Iron Man' approx four years later at Judgment Day 2000. The WWF packed so much drama into that hour - Shawn Michaels was special ref (banana-encasing shorts and all), The Undertaker returned, and every McMahon/DX member available interfered.

A timing miscue meant producers had to whip the countdown clock off-screen during 'Taker's comeback though. Then, HBK DQ'd The Rock for a 'Deadman' Tombstone on Trips, and Hunter won the thing 6-5. JR and Jerry Lawler claimed there'd been one second left on the clock, but that was frankly nonsense.

Everyone watching knew it too.

Not to worry, because this became known as arguably the greatest 'Iron Man' in company history anyway. There was so much going on that the hour duration flew past, and 'Taker's return to action is one of the best ever. If only they hadn't botched that clock!
