10 Things Everyone Wants To See In WWE Before The End Of 2020
2. A Proper Send Off For The Undertaker
If 'The Last Ride' on the WWE Network has taught us anything it's that the wrestling world is ready for the man behind The Undertaker character to take his place in the spotlight, and giving him a real farewell would be a fitting end to his storied career.
Survivor Series 2020 will mark 30 years since 'The Deadman' first walked down the aisle as part of 'The Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase's team of heels, and is the only logical place to lay the character to rest once and for all - assuming that's actually the plan and there isn't a surprise gong at WrestleMania 37.
How WWE and Mark Callaway choose to do this is up to them. Rehashing the now famous "leave it all in the ring" moment from WrestleMania 33 is one possibility, but would feel too contrived. Literally burying the character is another option, as is opening the urn and allowing the essence of his persona to escape into the WWE Universe. But maybe the best way would be to have him cut a promo both as The Undertaker and as himself bringing his story full circle and finally allowing one of the most enduring and beloved WWE characters ever to finally - but not literally - rest in peace.
