Chris Jericho gives Layfield recognition for the being the person who pitched the idea of WWE doing the Tribute to the Troops show, one of the things the company should be most proud of. JBL was a member of the first civilian group to go to Afghanistan, and upon returning he suggested WWE do something similar to the old USO shows, and the company loved it, took his idea and created an admirable endeavor that has provided many soldiers and wrestlers with some awesome memories. Regardless of your politics, the effort WWE puts into entertaining those guys--even venturing outside of the green zone to put on shows--is to be admired.
