10 Things That Must Happen At WWE Battleground

7. Bray Wyatt vs. Chris Jericho Breaks Down

The June 30 edition of Raw saw another return when Chris Jericho came back to the fold. He was immediately confronted by Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family and since then both sides have been having a war of words. But the talking will stop at Battleground when Y2J will face The Eater of Worlds in a one on one match. And this is one that Bray's fans should be highly anticipating. The reason for that is Bray's character has been at somewhat of a standstill for a few weeks now. Even though he faced John Cena at Payback and has had interaction with him since then, the fact is that fans knew it would ultimately not lead anywhere. John is WWE's top guy after all and because of that, he will almost always win the day in the end. Feuding with John was good for Bray in terms of getting some spotlight. But when it was all said and done, he is basically back where he was before he and Cena touched. And Chris Jericho could change all of that. Facing Jericho is good for Bray in so many ways. Chris is a very selfless Superstar; he has no main event status to protect, no championship run to hold onto. He basically comes back when it's best for him, he works when he wants to. The fact is he would not come back for a program with just any Superstar. Chris is giving back now, it's who he's become. And Bray Wyatt will be the man to benefit from that new outlook. Bray will definitely win this feud and when he does, it will make him look better than he has in a while. But that win should not come at Battleground. He and Jericho have just gotten started and a straight up win for either man on July 20 would perhaps not be the best idea. This match should break down, the rivalry should continue and it should be decided only when the time is right. Chris Jericho wouldn't have it any other way.
