10 Things That Must Happen At WWE Battleground

5. Kane And Randy Orton Go To War

Kane and Randy Orton are both part of The Authority, WWE's number one heel faction. They take their marching orders from Triple H and considering the prime spot both men have at the top of the company right now, that should likely be all they need. But there is trouble brewing in The Authority. And it's not getting any better. The fact is that Randy Orton and Kane basically hate each other right now. Working side by side for so long has finally started to have a negative effect on them and if left to their own devices, they will likely destroy each other. There's just too much history between them and too much animosity building with them right now. They have been bitter rivals before and not even the promise of power is enough to keep on the same page now. So when they step into the ring against John Cena and Roman Reigns at Battleground, the weeks of turmoil will surely blow up right in the face of The Authority. The Authority cannot last forever. They have been in power for nearly a year and at some point, they will fall apart. But the catch is that no outside force has been able to get the job done. CM Punk tried and failed. Big Show couldn't slow them down. Daniel Bryan won it all and still lost in the end. And now Roman Reigns is stepping up and he will surely be sat back down. Much like The Shield before them, The Authority may not be defeated by an outside opponent, no matter how good that man may be. Perhaps their downfall will come from within. Randy Orton and Kane could be the catalyst that brings The Authority's house of cards tumbling down at Battleground. Their focus may not be on taking the WWE World Championshp from John Cena or stopping Roman Reigns. Their focus may be on taking each other out. And if they go to war at Battleground, then it could be the first shot fired in the conflict that will ultimately mean the end for The Authority.
