Battleground will see the much anticipated one on one showdown between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. The two former Shield members have been warring since June 2, when Seth betrayed both Dean and Roman Reigns; and now it's time for Rollins to face the music. And this match will steal the show at Battleground. There's just no other way to say it, this is the one that fans want to see. Yes, Roman is expected to do well and yes Bray versus Jericho is a match that should deliver on every level. But Seth versus Dean? This is what WWE is all about. The reason that WWE overcame WCW back in the day is because of its focus on prepping the next generation of stars. While Ted Turner's company was still featuring talents well past their primes, Vince McMahon was counting on his company's ability to introduce and build future stars to move WWE forward. And WWE is still doing that to this day. Ambrose and Rollins are the best of the new crop of WWE Superstars. They represent the future, the next step of evolution for WWE. And that evolution is now, as both men bring it every time they're in the ring. The fans know that Battleground is their platform, their opportunity to shine and they will do just that. There's no championship involved, no main event status to protect and no world title shot hanging in the balance. There's just Seth, Dean and revenge. Dean is ready to destroy the man that left him for dead in the middle of the ring. Seth sold his soul to The Authority and his 30 pieces of silver was the Money in the Bank briefcase. The Authority has protected its newest addition and Seth has been riding high as Triple H's chosen one. But Ambrose is out for blood and he will not stop until he gets it. The future is now on July 20.
