6. Matt Hardy Versus Leif "Al Snow" Cassidy From 1997
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoWKGAvb264 There's a ton of amazing things in this match. Then "rookie" WWF announcer Tony Chimel refers to then enhancement talent Matt Hardy as "Bob Hardy," with the announce team of Jim Ross and Brian Pillman putting over that "young talent" Leif Cassidy could be considered for the "under consideration" light heavyweight division. As well, discussed is Jerry Lawler introducing Rob van Dam to WWF, which means that the match was taped the same night that RVD worked Matt's brother Jeff Hardy on Raw. Also, Pillman referring to ECW as a "fringe, outlaw promotion" of "outcasts and misfits" is good for a chuckle, too. One of (what were many) bizarre moments in Shotgun history.
