10 Things Nobody Wants To Admit About WWE Super ShowDown 2020

7. Brock Lesnar Had To Squash Ricochet

Going in, this fan thought that Ricochet had to look competitive so his match with Brock Lesnar had purpose. That, admittedly, missed the point of booking Rico against Lesnar in the first place. He was only there to play enhancement talent for Brock's brutality - 'The Beast' was sending a message to WrestleMania foe Drew McIntyre.

If anyone has a problem with this, then they (just like yours truly) need a reality check.

Lesnar and Ricochet currently operate on different levels of the WWE totem pole. One is a part-time champion who is considered box office and one of the best combat athletes in recent memory, and the other is just trying to find his way in a company that rarely shows mercy to mid-carders during this time of year.

After McIntyre squashed some tag-teams on Raw, Lesnar had to respond. This is a game of 'can you top this?' between champ and challenger heading into Tampa. Like it or not, this is WWE's way of booking monster vs. monster programs, and it'll continue for the next month or so.
