Another thing yours truly yammered on about pre-show was the placement of Super ShowDown between Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. Before now, these Saudi specials had happened just before 'Mania season or just after it, and that stopped them from threatening to encroach on the marquee event on the calendar.

There's nothing to worry about.

Super ShowDown didn't step on WrestleMania 36's toes at all. Those who despised what happened on Thursday eve will soon forget all about it, and those who choose not to tune in for political reasons (or because they're generally disinterested) won't be too bothered anyway.

This latest jaunt to Saudi Arabia was another show on the schedule, nothing more. It'll soon be replaced by Elimination Chamber in less than two weeks and then everyone will start getting hyped for 'Mania's sun-kissed charms. WWE move on fast from these cards.
