That doesn't mean they're going anywhere in the long term WWE picture.

The company signed a lengthy deal to produce a handful of these events each year, and they'll likely stick with that and watch the money tumble in. After Super ShowDown, a few comments on Twitter wondered if it's only a matter of time before WWE realise how damaging these events are to the regular TV product.

Yes, they do interrupt the flow of programming from time-to-time, and it is weird when announcers don't discuss the city/country they're happening in until they're there in person, but WWE are definitely in it for the long haul. Much like the opening track of Korn's 2002 album 'Untouchables', Saudi shows are 'Here To Stay'.

That gives fans two choices. One, accept them for what they are and take what you can from each show individually. Two, ignore them completely and only check results online. Realistically, WWE aren't going to call the whole thing off because of "blood money" cries.
