10 Things Nobody Wants To Admit About WWE WrestleMania 34
3. A Roman Reigns Celebration Is Inevitable
Even if Brock Lesnar decides to put pen-to-paper on a WWE extension and stick around for a while longer, he won't do so as Universal Champion. It's already written in the stars that Roman Reigns will ascend to the top of the mountain and become champ at WrestleMania 34.
WWE refuse to bow down and accept that fans don't want Reigns as some almighty babyface warrior who never gives up. That template, one set by Hulk Hogan and one replicated by John Cena isn't working for Roman. It probably never will unless he turns heel first and wins over fans that way.
The booking of Reigns vs. Lesnar so far suggests WWE don't care, and they'll pen that grandiose celebration for Roman to close 'Mania regardless.
Reigns has been written as a truth-talking workhorse who despises Lesnar's part-time schedule. This has led to several beatings for Roman whenever he has come up against Brock, and that's because he's going to take revenge in New Orleans.
Prepare the ticker tape, people.
