7. Austin Theory Is Next US Champ
Operation 'Rebuild Austin Theory' started on Raw. The cocky git pinned Finn Bálor in that six-man tag after being motivated by The Usos backstage, and it's almost nailed on that Theory will topple Bálor soon and take his United States Title into the bargain.
Sorry to anyone who loves Finn, but that needs to happen.
The Irishman is doing a grand sum of sod all in the title hotseat, and that's unlikely to change. When Austin wins, which he will, the writers must do one thing: GIVE HIS TITLE RUN SOME PURPOSE. Too many midcard championships reigns meander along then get forgotten about.
It's about time that US belt was used properly as a stepping stone to the big time. A lengthy run packed with meaningful challengers and banner wins should, in theory (pun intended), elevate Austin to the next level and come through on his promise as a Vince McMahon pet project to be proud of.
