10 Things Pro Wrestling Is Still Terrible At

1. Being Grown Up

Unfortunately, pro wrestling just can't grow up.

The threat of AEW's rise as legit competition prompted Triple H to declare them a "pissant company" at WWE's Hall Of Fame ceremony. Firing back, Cody decided to decimate a distinctly 'King Of Kings'-like throne during AEW's first Double Or Nothing pay-per-view. Both of these scenarios made everyone involved look like children.

The petty squabbles and constant digs haven't stopped since, and it's all so... avoidable. It's like two kids watched the WWF and WCW trade barbs in the '90s and thought, 'I'm gonna' do that when I grow up'. What they should've said was, 'I'm gonna' do that unless I grow up". Wrestling shows no signs of doing exactly that.

Even Vince McMahon got involved when he dismissed AEW as "blood and guts". Really? After everything WWE has presented over the years? Cody also took another shot back on Dynamite last year when he cheekily remarked, "They're botching it on two channels now" shortly after SmackDown debuted on FOX.

Some will see this as early, harmless fun. That's fine. Does it really need to keep happening though?
