10 Things Ric Flair Wants You To Forget About TNA

6. Feud With Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan Ric Flair At WrestleMania VIII, fans would never get to see the WWF Title match many had wanted between Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. Later in WCW, the pair would collide regularly, most memorably in Hogan's debut PPV performance for the company at Bash At The Beach 1994. In TNA, Hogan and Flair had numerous run-ins, but they weren't quite as satisfying. Of course, age does come into things, the pair were bordering on being pretty old dudes, that's not something that can be helped. What could have been helped however, was not booking both men against one another on TNA programming as though they were the featured stars. Quite why Hogan vs. Flair was promoted as a rivalry when neither man was in great ring shape is mind-boggling, and both guys have to take some portion of the blame, there's no way they weren't behind the suggestion that they should feud. Worse yet, the entire thing seemed to revolve around WWE Hall Of Fame rings, which only made the company look small time.
