10 Things Stone Cold Must Ask The Undertaker On WWE Network Podcast
4. His Loyalty
In the late 80's The Undertaker wrestled for WCW under the name, "Mean Mark Callous." In what shouldn't be a shock, he dressed in all black, but with his size and ability he was oddly a perennial midcard talent. Additionally, he had Paul Heyman as his manager. How did WCW mess that up? Well, it was WCW.
After his short lived stay in Atlanta, the WWE snatched up the big red head, and quickly put him on the road to becoming a cornerstone of the company. As WWE lost many main eventers to WCW, The Undertaker was one of the few that stayed loyal to Vince & Co. Had he left, the promotion may have collapsed. The roster just wasn't equipped to handle one more departure of a guy of his caliber.
Admittedly, one can argue that The Undertaker saw the other side due to his previous experience there, but it goes beyond that. Austin could simply lob something up about his loyalty over the years, and let Taker slam dunk what WWE has meant to him for the last 25 years.
