10 Things Surprisingly Shorter Than WWE WrestleMania 33
1. Running 100km On Road
If you didn’t feel lazy before, here’s a final entry to do just that.
Japanese ultra marathon runner Takahiro Sunada completed 100km in 6 hours, 13 minutes and 33 seconds in Yubetsu Saroma Tokoro Japan on June 21, 1998. This set the record for the fasted run of this distance. The Osaka-born runner was 25 years of age at the time of this momentous achievement.
The IAAF Male 100km Ultra Marathon record-holder also went on to to claim fourth place in the Berlin Marathon in 2000 achieving a personal best time of two hours, ten minutes and seven seconds. That same year, he won the ultra marathon at the IAU European Championships in Belvès, Frances, completing it in the similarly impressive time of six hours, 17 minutes, and 17 seconds.
100km is over 62 miles in length, a distance we're sure even the fittest WWE superstar would struggle to run, let alone run it in the run time of WrestleMania with over 45 minutes to spare. This distance is almost the equivalent of running from London to Portsmouth.
So don’t make any excuses for not getting home in time to watch the biggest wrestling show of the year.
