10 Things That Are Inevitable Before WWE WrestleMania 31
2. Sting Finally Makes His WWE Debut
The rumors of Sting joining WWE in 2014 have been there since the start of 2014 when his TNA deal expired. Now that he's a part of the WWE 2K15 video game, he's got an action figure and he's appeared at public WWE events, it seems like it's a matter of "when" he shows up in WWE instead of "if" he shows up. He has talked openly about wanting to do one match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31 and said that it's okay that Undertaker's WrestleMania streak is over because a match like that is a big enough deal without "The Streak" being alive. That's a fair point that I agree with. In order for that to happen, Sting's going to have to appear on WWE before WrestleMania 31 to set it up. If he doesn't wrestle Undertaker then perhaps an opponent like Triple H would work as a "dream match" or some other big WWE name that he hasn't faced before. Sting may have some kind of verbal agreement in place. We don't know. It seems like he does, but it would be smart of WWE to save a debut until the new year. No point in rushing it.
