10 Things That Are Inevitable Before WWE WrestleMania 34

4. WWE Get Swept Up In Roman Reigns' Babyface Hope

Don't kid yourselves, WWE haven't fully abandoned all hope of Roman Reigns magically becoming everyone's favourite wrestler. There are little hints that Roman is playing tweener, but just how far will the writers go with this before Vince McMahon instructs them that Reigns must be cheered? He's the golden child of this generation, after all.

That's not to say Roman doesn't deserve the spotlight, but surely the idea of him playing hero to the masses is played out by now. Fans just didn't accept Reigns as the happy-go-lucky top babyface in 2015, 2016, or 2017, and there's no reason to suspect 2018 will be any different. WWE may still try.

When the chips are down post-SummerSlam and WWE need someone to step up and be their top face, they might just give Roman another shot. It'll fail, naturally (for aforementioned reasons), but the writers could get Reigns fever all over again and believe he's worthy of another shot in the lead baby role.
