This writer has a weird fondness for it, but 1995 was a largely awful year for pro wrestling. WCW's 'Dungeon Of Doom' sucked the life from programming, and the WWF promoted hapless pap like 'King' Mabel because they thought people would pay money to see it.

Then, there was In Your House 4 - an October pay-per-view so rancid that even Vinnie Mac himself was disgusted by the time it ended. The boss reportedly tossed down his commentary headset and stormed back behind the curtain with a scowl after watching Diesel vs. Davey Boy Smith stink it up in that evening's main event.

Bruce Prichard once recalled Vince's backstage fury on his podcast.

WWE wouldn't acknowledge that today. They wouldn't want anyone to know that Vince thought one of his prized supershows was a total waste of space. Maybe he shouldn't have booked Mabel vs. Yokozuna or Razor Ramon vs. Dean Douglas then.
