10 Things That Happened AFTER Wrestling Matches That WWE Won’t Tell You

5. JR’s Post-WrestleMania Party

Discussing this one would mean WWE management admitting they were d*cks to Jim Ross, and that's not going to happen for multiple reasons. Firstly, JR works for AEW, so he's hardly going to come up in company circles any time soon. Secondly, it seems so needlessly cruel in retrospect.

Ross was legit buzzing with pride at the thought of calling The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels II at WrestleMania XXVI. He wrote in his second book that he couldn't wait to do it, and was horrified when WWE officials informed him that he'd been pulled from the event last-minute.

Not one to mope for too long, Jim pulled himself together and ended up having a lovely evening post-show with both 'Taker and Shawn - the legendary pair felt for JR (they'd personally requested his commentary) and invited him to a private get-together out back by the buses at the then-University of Phoenix Stadium (now State Farm Stadium).

The three old buddies shared drinks and stories long into the night. They had their own unofficial 'Mania after party in the parking lot away from the hubbub of everyone else, and JR will never forget it.
