4. Hulk Hogan’s Post-Royal Rumble Meltdown

Hulk Hogan might remain a polarising figure to fans, but he's back in WWE's good graces as a token ambassador these days. Generally, Hulk's career is revisited fondly by the company - he's mentioned regularly again whenever announcers talk about the greats, for example.

Just as well, otherwise ol' Hulkster might throw a hissy fit.

That's what he reportedly did backstage after the 1992 Royal Rumble. Whilst Ric Flair was cutting one of the best promos ever ("With a tear in my eye!" and all that), a confused Sid looked on as Hogan chucked his weight around and moaned about how the 30-man match had played out that evening.

Sid told this story on Sean Mooney's 'Prime Time' podcast, and said he was baffled by Hulk's screaming match with Vince McMahon. After all, things had gone smoothly during the Rumble, and Hogan's part in Sid's elimination sowed seeds for WrestleMania VIII.

Apparently, big Terry didn't see it that way.
