10 Things That Happened At NXT Live: Newcastle (Australia)

Perhaps I blissfully ignored any rumours that accompanied the Australian tour, however when William Regal's music hit, I along with the rest of Newcastle exploded. The stunned faces around the arena suggested it was the same for a lot of fans, who were obviously stunned that THE William Regal was there. The sheer presence of such a legend in WWE and wrestling in general, and the aura that accompanied him, was incredible.

He didn't say much, only that he was loving working with the NXT superstars and that the last time he was in Australia the crowd booed him (as opposed to our excessive cheers this time around), but it was such an exciting moment for everyone there. After speaking, he shook the hands of several members of the crowd, and signed some autographs. It was absolutely a moment that blew the fans away; we are extremely grateful for this and will not be forgetting it any time soon.
