2. Johnny Gargano Still Doesn’t Know Which One Is Dawson
I feel like this was match of the night, for a couple of reasons. Before it even started, there was such an atmosphere of excitement. #DIY got almost the biggest pop of the night (Nakamura, obviously) and milked it, spending copious amounts of time with fans before even getting into the ring. They also clinked their titles, and 'hugged it out' after being egged on by the fans, which elicited Scott Dawson yelling "our titles, our clink, our hug!!" to the elated champions.
A stand out moment was as a chant got up, “Which One’s Dawson? / Which One’s Dash?”, Johnny Gargano turned around to the fans behind him and said “I still don’t know”, which received a great cheer in itself. Those same fans continued chants, with two or three at one point trying another which Dawson responded "yeah, great job, all two of you". There was a small pocket of fans who regularly yelled "Go The Revival!", so good on them for coming out.
But in all seriousness, it was a great match between #DIY and The Revival, both teams offering up their greatest skills and perfect combination of storytelling and comedy. It demonstrated the calibre of match NXT is renowned for.
