There is no greater dream match available to WWE at this point than Sting vs. The Undertaker. The last decade has seen increasing excitement and anticipation for the bout as fans beg for the opportunity to see the cornerstone of WCW battle the franchise player of WWE. The most loyal performers in company history, they were the men who best represented their companies during the height of wrestling popularity and the depths of its downfall. They were the embodiment of the Monday Night Wars not, as WWE tried to convince fans in 2015, Triple H and the Stinger. Such a hotly anticipated match is Undertaker vs. Sting that WWE.com recently took the opportunity to tease fans with the possibility that it could happen in Dallas for WrestleMania 32. For the sake of the event, for the sake of shattering records with an indoor attendance not seen since WrestleMania 3 in 1987, it would behoove the company to capitalize on the fan excitement for the match and promote it on the biggest stage imaginable. A contest between the two is one that would appeal to today's generation, as well as those who may have been dedicated fans during the 1990s but checked out following the demise of the Attitude Era. It would appeal to those who fell in love with wrestling at a time when it was character driven and Undertaker and Sting were among the greatest ever conceived. WWE absolutely must capitalize on the opportunity it has now with both Superstars under the same brand.
