As important as it is for Sting vs. Undertaker to take place at WrestleMania, it is equally as important that they battle one last time and wave goodbye to the audience that has supported them for years. It has become abundantly clear recently that both are in need of significant bells and whistles to ensure a good match. That, or a competent dance partner. Rather than diminishing their legacies out of some blind loyalty to fans or in the chase for a huge paycheck, they should take the opportunity to bow out gracefully, one of the greatest marquee matches in industry history their final dance, so to speak. Neither has anything left to prove. They have accomplished everything there is to accomplish in the business they have devoted the majority of their adult life to. It is time to step away, to say goodbye and reap the praise and adulation their hard work has netted. There is no better place, or time, for that to happen then after an epic encounter on the grandest stage known to professional wrestling.
