Sting has gone from being the most popular man to have never worked for Vince McMahon to being the most popular vigilante force in WWE. The former NWA and WCW champion has continued his legacy past the era of The Monday Night Wars into the modern day WWE, where he has been called out by Triple H to appear at Fastlane. This is a moment that will arguably the biggest one he has had since arriving in the company. His debut at Survivor Series in 2014 was epic, his first appearance on Monday Night Raw was huge but Fastlane is something else altogether. The Game has called The Icon out and now Sting will stand eye to eye with Triple H in the middle of the ring. As every WWE fans knows, Hunter is dangerous and the fact is he's never truly alone now. The Cerebral Assassin has made a career out of playing mind games on his opponents and since he went corporate, he has been surrounded by The Authority. To imagine that he will be alone at Fastlane seems ridiculous at best. Hunter's impending confrontation with Sting will surely be a setup to take The Icon down. However, that cannot happen. Sting must find a way to overcome the odds and walk out of Fastlane on his own two feet. Yes he will likely be ambushed and yes he will be outnumbered but that must not prevent him from rising above it all. Whether it's due to an assist from other babyfaces in the locker room or thanks to a baseball bat, Sting must look as good as he ever has and that means stopping The Authority in its tracks.
