Rusev is WWE's resident monster, the unstoppable heel that has been tearing through the competition since the moment he debuted on the main roster. Everyone that has stepped up to him has fallen and every time he's tested, he overcomes. At Fastlane however, his biggest test lies with the company's biggest star. John Cena is the one that will attempt to do what no one else has; pin Rusev in the middle of the ring. Cena is coming in like a man possessed, full of confidence and intensity against The Bulgarian Brute and fans know he will not stop until he gets the victory. That is not what should happen at Fastlane. The fact is that too much work has been done to get Rusev over, too much effort has been made to convince fans that he is a force to be reckoned with for him to go down the second Cena touches him. John does not need to run through Rusev as if he's not there, it's not something that has to happen. There will be other matches, other nights for Cena to get his wins and look good but Fastlane should be Rusev's night to shine. That event should be another step on Rusev's path to the main event and a victory over Cena is the best way to get there.
