From the moment that Wade Barrett stepped into WWE, he has been one of the coolest and sharpest antagonists on the roster. He is reserved, focused and maintains his composure at all times. From his stint as leader of The Nexus to his current role delivering bad news, Barrett is the classy heel who always seems to be in full control. However, he has never faced anyone like Dean Ambrose. The Lunatic Fringe is one of the most unique Superstars on the roster thanks in large part to his unpredictability and his penchant for snapping at a moment's notice. Ambrose rarely ever thinks before he acts and when he acts, it's usually a bad day for everyone within 10 feet of him. Because of this, Ambrose is a tough challenge for anyone he steps into the ring with and that is especially true of Barrett, who is very accustomed to always having a firm grip on the situation. At Fastlane though, Barrett's grip will loosen and the truth is he may never get it back. The chances of Dean winning the Intercontinental Championship at Fastlane may be slim, as Barrett has not held the title for that long. However it may not make much of a difference, as all Dean needs to do is completely rattle Barrett and overwhelm him to make the match as entertaining as possible. A retreating and bewildered Bad News Barrett would surely be a great sign that more is to come in the rivalry with Ambrose.
