People In WWE "Not In Love" With Main Roster Newcomer's Work (WWE News)
Certain WWE officials were not entirely sold on Sol Ruca.
Having now been on the WWE main roster for four months, some people in WWE apparently have not been totally sold on Sol Ruca's performances since making the full-time jump from NXT.
Per the latest episode of Self Made Sessions, certain people behind the scenes in WWE "weren't in love" with what they saw from Sol from an in-ring sense. It was noted that "some of those people in Gorilla" don't get to see an NXT talent until they're brought in for a "cameo" or to wrestle on WWE Main Event tapings. For Sol, those officials seemingly weren't familiar with her "until those appearances on SmackDown and the John Cena retirement show".
Since being called up to Raw, it's safe to say there have been some highs and some lows for Sol Ruca. On his first night as a part of the main roster, she wrestled WWE Women's World Champion Liv Morgan in a high-profile bout on the Raw after WrestleMania 42, and she famously defeated Becky Lynch at Clash in Italy to become the Women's Intercontinental Champion. However, Ruca's performances between the ropes have been a mixed bag, with the Raw newcomer having several notable missteps at big moments, including struggling to properly land her impressive Sol Snatcher finish at times.
Still, despite the up-and-down nature of her main roster run so far, at just 26 years of age and with so much potential, Sol Ruca still has plenty of the tools to become a notable player on the main roster.
