10 Things That Must Happen At WWE Super Show-Down
7. Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, & Drew McIntyre Defeat The Shield
While this is in theory just another "house show"-type match, this could, on paper, be a show-stealer. Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns have an undeniable chemistry, and the duos of Ambrose/Rollins and Ziggler/McIntyre are hot off the heels of one of the best tag title matches in years.
However, many seem sour on this match because as it's a "glorified house show," it seems like a foregone conclusion that The Shield are going to go over. Admittedly, I'm probably asking too much of WWE to have the heels go over on Saturday, but here's my rationale:
First off, from a storyline standpoint, it would make sense to make The Shield look vulnerable. They're now playing up that Ambrose may be questioning his place in the group now that Roman and Seth have won singles gold without him. Secondly, from a booking standpoint, Braun hasn't truly gotten one over on Roman since turning heel. To make the Monster Among Men look on even standing with the Universal Champion and Brock Lesnar in the build for Crown Jewel, it would benefit him to get a pin on Roman in this match.
Of course, that's my heart-brain talking. My brain-brain is envisioning Dolph eating the pin like groceries.
