10 Things That Must Happen At WWE Survivor Series 2017

8. Give The Tag Teams Time

The Usos have been a revelation since turning heel in autumn 2016. Jimmy and Jey have worked their way back to the top of the tag team division on the strength of excellent promos and great matches, and the brothers are undoubtedly the tag team in WWE today.

It has been somewhat forgotten that their renaissance didn’t truly kick-off until Survivor Series 2016. The Usos were the standout performers on the SmackDown side of the 10-on-10 elimination match, eventually falling short following an excellent finishing stretch against Sheamus and Cesaro. 12 months later, the two teams come face to face once again.

Both teams have had fantastic bouts recently against The New Day and Rollins & Ambrose respectively, but this could top them all. If given enough time, there is every chance that the battle between RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Champions will be the best match on a relatively stacked card.

If The Usos vs. Sheamus & Cesaro gets at least 15 minutes to tell a story, the WWE Universe could be in for something very special indeed.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
