10 Things That MUST Happen During CM Punk’s WWE Return

1. He Becomes A WWE Hall Of Famer

What's the ideal length for Punk's second WWE stab? Three years? A few out there might even prefer something shorter - they'll just want to see their hero get everything he craves in an 18 month span, then ride off into the sunset with his head held high without causing drama behind the curtain.

Beyond that, the Hall Of Fame awaits.

Why not? Punk was a big deal during his first WWE run between 2005-2014, is still fondly remembered as one of the best indy standouts throughout a peak era for ROH, and he's been a lightning rod on the microphone since forever. There's more than enough meat on the bone for a HOF speech.

The man's biggest critics might disagree, but nobody can objectively dismiss everything CM Punk has contributed to pro wrestling over the past 20 years or so. Being sick of backstage histrionics is one thing. Dismissing his impact on-screen and in-ring is another.
