10 Things That MUST Happen During CM Punk’s WWE Return

5. Beats Seth Rollins To Win The World Title

Seth Rollins is the first and only WWE World Heavyweight Champ under the revived belt's current lineage. He won it back at Night Of Champions in May 2023, and has held the thing with distinction as a battling workhorse ever since. Unfortunately for he-with-the-dazzling-outfits, all good things must come to an end.

Absolutely no-one would've predicted that CM Punk would supplant Rollins back when Seth beat Finn Bálor though. Therein lies the beauty of pro wrestling - it's ever-evolving, and constantly throws up surprises to keep things at boiling point. Punk is almost a dead cert to beat Rollins and become the second champion.

There's money in it.

This could even facilitate a return to the heel side for Seth, or maybe he'd show begrudging respect for someone he definitely hasn't been fond of up to this point and they'd co-exist. Stranger things have happened, but Punk is winning that strap regardless of how Rollins feels about it.
