Stop the press!

Yes, CM Punk and Paul Heyman ended up hating on one another following their critically-acclaimed partnership a decade or so ago. WWE used their split to help push Punk's latest babyface turn at the time, but that's all water under the bridge in 2023/2024 isn't it?

Would anyone be totally taken aback if Heyman and Punk came back together as one and the latter turned into a "Paul Heyman Guy" all over again? That might be too tempting for creative to resist, especially once they've burned through a few other scenarios for Punk and need something to keep things interesting.

It's only a matter of time before the Roman Reigns-led Bloodline story comes to a close anyway, so Paul E will require a fresh feeling role himself. If Triple H doesn't want to go the Curtis Axel route and try turn Heyman into an undercard miracle worker, then he may fancy getting the old band back together with Punk.
