10 Things That Need To Happen In WWE Before 2018
4. Cena Vs. Reigns Left Unfinished
Cena vs. Reigns has been stellar so far, and their match at No Mercy promises to be a showstopper. However, should their feud really be taking place at the time of year when WWE typically takes their foot off the gas? The commentators keep billing this as a 'WrestleMania worthy match', so why isn't it at WrestleMania?
Given that this feud is so big, it shouldn't be culminating any place other than the main event of a WrestleMania. For this to happen; the feud can't reach an end point this year, and it must be left on a cliffhanger until it is restarted nearer to WrestleMania.
If someone cost Reigns the match at No Mercy, and started a feud with The Big Dog, it would allow the Cena vs. Reigns feud to be postponed until 'Mania - a wise move. It would be foolish to culminate their feud at an event like TLC, when you could instead have 75,000 fans at the 'Showcase of the Immortals', chanting about the two most polarising characters in WWE ever. Things would be better in the long term if Cena vs. Reigns reaches a conclusion on a bigger stage.
