10 Things That Should Happen At WWE Great Balls Of Fire
1. Roman Reigns Should Win
I'm writing this entry through gritted teeth, because for the duration of Reigns and Strowman's feud, I've marvelled at the way Braun has transformed himself from a lumbering giant into the most impressive big man on the WWE roster right now. He's a throwback to the glory days of wrestling, a larger-than-life monster with very straightforward motivations. It's a breath of fresh air.
Of course, this rivalry comes with a modern twist, as hardcore fans cheer the rejuvenated Strowman and boo Roman Reigns - but that's part and parcel of WWE these days, especially where the Big Dog is concerned.
I'd love to say that Braun should win, and go on to face Lesnar at SummerSlam - but WWE's recent booking makes that a very illogical decision. Roman Reigns' announcement that he'll face the winner of Brock vs. Joe in August has potentially telegraphed the result of this match. If Strowman wins, Lesnar's next challenger looks weak - and that goes against pro wrestling convention.
As uninspiring as it sounds, and as disappointing a decision as this would be for Strowman, Reigns should walk out of Great Balls of Fire the victor.
