10 Things That Should Happen At WWE Great Balls Of Fire
2. Wyatt Needs An Excuse For A Refresh
Of all the matches on Sunday's card, the one that stands out the least ironically features two of Raw's biggest stars: Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt. The problem here has been the booking of both men. Rollins, it's generally accepted, was turned face at the wrong time. He returned from injury as a heel, and only turned (to a decidedly lesser reaction) a couple of months down the line to feud with Triple H.
Wyatt's booking has been even worse, and the Eater of Worlds has been in a downward spiral since losing the WWE Championship to Orton at WrestleMania. In fact, that brief reign was probably the only anomaly in a long period of lazy writing. Bray simply doesn't seem like a threat anymore. He acts spooky, throws vague threats around, and usually loses.
Great Balls of Fire could be Bray's excuse to hit the reset button. I'm not suggesting a total gimmick change, but just something to give him some time offscreen and break away from the rut he's currently in. Should WWE put Rollins over strong, perhaps involving some sort of dangerous-looking spot (this is Great Balls of Fire, after all) Bray could be 'put out of commission' for the time being.
He sure needs it.
