10 Things That Will Happen At Sunday's WWE Elimination Chamber

6. Lana Helps Rusev Become Intercontinental Champion

Daniel Bryan becoming Intercontinental Champion was supposed to elevate that title in the same way Cena's reign has helped the United States Championship. Things sadly didn't work out like that, and looking at those competing in this Elimination Chamber match, it's hard to say which of them would come succeed in significantly raising the title's profile. Rusev being in there presents an interesting dilemma for the WWE though. Despite recent losses to Cena, the Bulgarian Brute has only suffered a single pinfall loss. Are they really ready to have him go down to one of the men he's spent a year beating in squash matches? Throw in the drama surrounding his relationship with Lana, and it's hard to imagine that not somehow factoring into this match. Despite the fact that they appear to be on the outs, the Ravaging Russian finding a way to distract Dolph Ziggler and help Rusev regain a Championship does make at least some sense. so expect to see that come into play here.
