10 Things That Will Happen At Sunday's WWE Elimination Chamber
5. Kevin Owens Does A Brock Lesnar On John Cena
Going by the old reverse momentum rule, chances are that John Cena will defeat Kevin Owens at Elimination Chamber this Sunday. He has after all been taken down by the NXT Champion twice now, and the best that Owens' fans can hope for is that he is at least made to look good rather than being completely trounced, and his mystique lost as a result. However, what if the WWE were to surprise everyone by allowing Owens to completely decimate Cena? Brock Lesnar defeating The Streak was a big deal, but the way he destroyed Cena at SummerSlam last year in some ways generated even more buzz around him. Like when any NXT Superstar arrives on the main roster, WWE fans who don't watch NXT have been slow to warm to Owens (the fact that Cena couldn't get a decent "Fight Owens Fight" chant going on Raw this past Monday was heartbreaking). Having him make an impact by humiliating Cena in brutal fashion would make those unfamiliar with his character sit up and pay attention, while also instantly establishing him as a main eventer.
