9. The Shane McMahon-Authority Fallout
WWE.comThe fate of The Authority is difficult to predict, as it hinges on a virtually unbookable Shane McMahon-Undertaker main event. Each of the potential scenarios carries its own booking headache, but every single one of them ensures one thing: an interminable Stephanie McMahon/Triple-H promo on Raw. If Shane McMahon beats The Undertaker, the opening segment will constitute a long-drawn out send-off for the beaten Authority - though Stephanie will still hog the spotlight. If Shane loses to The Undertaker, then the opening segment will be insufferably longer as the power couple goad the audience incessantly, with Stephanie again hogging the spotlight. The third, most unpalatable - and therefore most likely - outcome is a Shane McMahon swerve that allows The Authority to maintain the status quo.
