10 Things That Will Happen When Triple H Takes Over WWE
2. Tag Team Wrestling
Given that Vince McMahon presided over a tag division teeming with star power during the 1980s (and, to a slightly lesser extent, the early part of the 2000s), it might surprise many to learn that it's the chairman of the board himself who is responsible for its incremental decline over the last 15 years.
But apparently that's the case, which means the mini-resurgence seen of late - primarily, it must be said, down in NXT with the introduction of #DIY, American Alpha, and The Revival - should be credited to his son-in-law, who likes two-piece tag teams almost as much as he likes three- or four-men factions.
In short: expect a better selection of main roster teams, longer lasting feuds, and more generous pay-per-view slots if Triple H gets his way.
