There's a lot of chat about whether or not Vince will start having more say in WWE's daily creative planning again. Ladies and gents, there's just no way McMahon is capable of returning to work and letting Triple H, his daughter Stephanie or anyone else run amok without some hefty input.

That could be a death knell for several workers who are starting to gain traction under Hunter's watch. LA Knight, for example, was rotting away in a going-nowhere role as Max Dupri before Vince put on his retirement slippers, and he's since shot into a hot SmackDown program opposite the returning Bray Wyatt.

It wouldn't be out of character for McMahon to flex his muscles and scrap that push completely. In fact, it wouldn't be a shocker if Vince sent someone like Knight back to NXT, and the same could be said for a lot of other acts currently probing for success on the top shows.

Things could change quickly.
